About Rosanne
I'm a Canadian singer-songwriter-artist based out of Toronto. Years ago my own Artist journey morphed into primarily co-writing with other Artists for their projects. Which I love. However, more recently I also stepped back into my Artist shoes with my sophomore album "Sorry I'm Late". 28 years between my first and this - there's been a lot of learning and a lot of life in-between to fuel the 11 songs I chose to share.
Writing is my go-to. I write because I'm moved to. I write because watching life and living my life in my quiet corner builds cyclones in my heart and chest. Because it pulls me to familiar and it pulls to scenes and settings I get lost in or found in - and because sometimes that’s the only way I can decipher what I see, or feel or need to understand. Writing a song captures all the layers of that.
We all have a unique soundtrack in the background of our lives. And for some reason, I’m compelled to share mine so that others might find in mine, something that lines up with and adds colour to theirs. - RBT
