Tomorrow at noon, Friday, September 24th, 2021  “STRONG” goes live on numerous platforms around the world. Very cool.

 An exciting day stepping into a new beginning …

But before we whip by this moment and jump into the work ahead, I want to exhale and reflect on the work behind. You know, pause and look at what’s been invested into getting us to this moment. Right here.

There is soooo much beneath releasing a song. Far beyond I’m sure what many would ever imagine. And rarely is it the work of just one. I am grateful for the talented and busy people who have invested their time and energy into this project to make possible that what I write, becomes visible. Those people who have made my enthusiastic ‘what-if’ a tangible. This project is a collaboration of people who have brought their minutia, their personal and professional best, to arriving at this moment. And that feels great. 

 A heartfelt thank you to - Will Schollar, Mark Kelso, Kevin Fox, Ben Pelchat, Andy Krehm, Kensington Sound, Vezi Tayyeb, Dale Peters, Michael Wrycraft, Damon Pourshian, Taylor Thornley-Schollar, Michael Thornley, Stephen Stohn, Sara Franczyk, Mavis Harris and FACTOR (The Foundation Assisting Canadian Talent on Recordings).

And so “STRONG”, the first single I’ve released as an Artist in a very long time, is at the first goal post. Ready. We have nurtured the 3:43 minutes of this song and built the surrounding pieces with the outmost care. And now, we hand over the baton to those on the team who will run beside and help “STRONG” find its legs.

 It’s a day that I’m going to soak up. (… and well, maybe go out and buy that little headphone charm to add to my ‘this-is-my-life’ charm bracelet to mark this milestone day)
