It’s interesting to look back and take note of the experiences that have you standing where you are ...
Much of this year found me busy chatting with curious-to-know people who posed questions about my journey, and a past that underlines my album “Sorry I’m Late”. With a few more singles, a few more videos into the world and a constant stream of doing, what I’ve gained through the experience of all of this this past year isn’t lost on me. In fact, it’s been quite eye-opening.
I am as always, grateful for the generous and gracious support I have from the people who are around me day-to-day. Grateful as well for the global community who are listening to my music, including the dj’s, hosts, podcasters, journalists and broadcasters here in Canada, as well as in Nashville, Denver, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Italy, Australia, and the UK who chose from a sea of songs to share my music with their listeners, readers, and followers. It’s in the quiet moments of looking back that I see the impact that that has had and my good fortune to grow my world with some great people I’ve come to know this year.
And though busy with my own music, I continued to work as much as possible with other Artists. Artists who I smile as deeply for as we write, record, produce and plan their steps forward. I’m fortunate to have in my life, moments of sitting in the room with cups of tea and honest conversations that resulted in meaningful songs. Songs that captured hearts and stories beyond my own and that led to friendships and experiences I’m proud to be part of - some of which made their way into the world in 2023, with much more to follow!!
Here’s to the journeys that lay ahead!
